How do you print black and white pictures in microsoft word with a color printer?

In word, add your picture then right mouse click on it, select from the menu ';Format Picture';. This will bring up the format picture control box, click on the tab ';Picture'; the under ';Image Control: Color'; pull the drop down and select ';Black and White'; this will convert the picture into a Black and white. I would recommend if it is a photo to use ';Grayscale'; as it will make the picture look better. Then just print as normal.

Hope this Helps

You should have a black cartridge in your printer. If so you can try to click in File-%26gt;Print that will open a new window. Click in Properties and then go to the tab color. Here you can change from color to black/white
If your printer properties dialog box doesn't have an option for printing in black and white, you can turn the picture black and white by right clicking the picture, clicking ';Format Picture,'; then the ';Picture'; tab, and changing the picture to black and white in the bottom left corner list box.
Most printers have a butten to only use b %26amp; w
From the words document, when you select print, the printer dialogs opens. Click on the printer properties and select the paper quality tabs. There you have the options to select print in color or black and white. One selected your preference, you can start printing.
