Will be purchasing a color laser printer, but will be using infrequently, any tips to save ink from drying out

Laser printers don't use and ink base medium. They use a very fine dry powder toner. You will not have to worry about it drying up.Will be purchasing a color laser printer, but will be using infrequently, any tips to save ink from drying out
Laser printers use toner, not ink. And toner is already in the form of a dry powery substance. Will be purchasing a color laser printer, but will be using infrequently, any tips to save ink from drying out
I've had an HP LaserJet 4000 for about 5-6 years, all with the same toner cartridge. Admittedly it's not colour, but it still works fine, no clogging at all.

Don't do a lot of printing, as you might guess. :-)
I don't think you should worry about that, for the past 20 years of printer repair I have never seen the ink dry up in a laser printer yet, the only tip I can give you is print a bit lighter to save money and when buying a laser especially a color laser always buy Canon, I used a Canon the whole time I had my repair shop, now at home I still use the same 22 year old Canon laser and ink printers, hope this helps you and good luck.
Laser printers do not dry out.
You don't need to worry about it with a laser printer. Laser printers use toner, a dry, powdery ink. If it isn't in a very humid environment, you needn't think of it at all. If the air is overly humid, it might clump up a bit, but generally you're pretty darn safe with toner, as far as a ';shelf life'; goes.
i was worried about this too but at office max they give u a 3-5$ refund for each ink cartridge that u return... (they fill them up again) then u can use that coupon for anything... it saves a lot...

P.S. i think they only take HP cartridges
i it is for home use why don't you get an ink jet printer some of the new ones give amazing results i have the latest Epsom and the compatible cartridges are very cheap
