Home use quality, best combination of equipment price and cost of ink, toner, reliability, etc. Output speed and volume are secondary considerations.Which is the most economical color printer, copier, scanner to buy and maintain for photo use?
Look into the HP C5180. It has 6 individual ink cartridges that you can purchase along with 150 4x6 photo papers for $36.99. It has an LCD screen where you can view and edit your photos. Though speed wasn't a large concern, it does around 30 ppm black/color and as fast as 12 seconds per 4x6 photo. Quality is great on documents and photos, and it scans and copies really nicely. This product is bran new and you may not find it at some stores yet. The Best Buy where I live has it in stock, however they don't have it displayed on the shelf yet. This printer retails for around $199, but it's well worth the money. No other printer outside HP's new 6-cartridge printers will give you such a low cost per photo with such nice quality. It has several other features (such as Bluetooth, Panorama prints, etc) that I think you will like, too.Which is the most economical color printer, copier, scanner to buy and maintain for photo use?
I have Dell all in one that does a nice job but a pain to get ink for my next on will be a HP easy to get ink for
If you are willing to do more than 3,000 copies per month.
I would recommend something like Panasonic DP-C262.
Cost per copy is about 25 cents (that includes maintenance!!!)
you can use it as a JPEG or PDF files and it can be used as Network Scanner.
