Color printer?

I am trying to print out business cards on Avery 837 paper. The printer I am using is a color printer HP Color LazerJet 2605dn. The business cards are two sided. The first side prints out just fine, but when I print the other side, it smears side 2. A co-worker said that maybe I need to adjust the impression of the color while printing the cards but they never came to show me how to do it. Can anyone help me?Color printer?
There should be a paper type choice in the driver of your printer. Select heavy paper and try again. The toner is melted onto the paper by the fuser (hot part), and the paper absorbs some of the heat. Thicker the paper, more heat absorbed by the paper and not the toner. Heavy paper selection heats the fuser to a hotter temperature ensuring the toner is fused correctly on paper. Also use straight thru feed tray instead of putting back thru the regular paper tray on the 2nd side. Good luck!
