Someone is giving me a printer but says the head needs cleaned. Being i don tknow how to do it, i dont know if the hassle is worth the printer...someone help please!!!!!What is the procedure for cleaning a printer head on a cannon i550 color bubblejet printer?
If you use Windows, just go to your start menu and click on printers and faxes. Right click on your printer and click properties. Then click on the the maintenance tab.What is the procedure for cleaning a printer head on a cannon i550 color bubblejet printer?
Should be able to perform that task via Canon's printer control panel - usually only takes a couple of minutes. If it bad enough however to require a professional clean, you'd be better off betting a new one.
Worth running the self-clean function first though as this may be all that is needed
