We are in a big office and have our own small office. How do I share my printer? I just hired an assistant and just bought a color laser printer and I want her?

does she have nice legs? :))
You install the software on her computer and set her computer up to print to that printer. Also if you still have the directions it should state it in there,
The key thing is to make sure that in Printer properties, ';Share this printer'; or something is enabled.
Then to install the network printer on the other computer, you must enter the address. It will most likely look like this:
\\ComputerName\PrinterName
Wai is right - Printers, select the color printer, r-click %26amp; go to Properties, sharing,[follow directions].
If the device has a network interface, it is even easier, since ALL PC's on the network could use it, simply by installing it as a 'network printer'. They just would need the driver SW.
You can also get a print server. This allows you to share a printer without having the printer hooked up to a specific computer and having that computer on. The way Wai explained it is correct but you would need your computer on to share the printer. If you're willing to invest in a print server, you can printer at anytime from any computer. You have find print servers pretty cheap at Fry's Electronics.
